S.O.H. \"Cost to live\"

SOH from Los Angeles presents its first full-length album, showcasing its musical talent and forging a path that is both punk and completely unique. SOH is unlike anyone else on the current music scene, and while influences can be heard in their galloping d-beat rhythms, metallic riffs, and charismatic vocals, everything blends together into the band's distinctive sound. Part of what defines that sound is its eclecticism. You never know what SOH will surprise you with next, and each song offers something new, whether it's a different rhythm from the drummer, a new style of riffs, vibrant bass lines, or a new vocal technique never heard before. It feels like SOH has made an effort not to compose the same song over and over again, bringing a distinctive element to each one of their works. The album is full of standout moments, and if you get hooked on, say, the demonic, frenzied vocals in the second verse of “Walang Paglaya” or East Bay Ray's guitar style on “Annihilate,” the band won't hammer you with the same thing for the rest of the album. SOH's vocalist is a true chameleon, using everything from screams and shrieks to growls and a spoken-word style of singing to keep every moment of Cost to Live fresh and exciting.
