The punk scene in Mallorca has always been thriving. Since Cerebros Exprimidos kicked things off more than three decades ago, a good handful of bands have put the island on the map. But the years pass quickly, and a generational change was needed, with new ideas, new bands, and new audiences... That's where Lakra comes in, not only as a band but as a collective. After a long history of concerts, these four young people decided to record at Impala Uno (San Jordi, Mallorca) and spit out five tracks of fresh, fast, urgent, and primitive punk. Musically, they may bring to mind bands like Orden Mundial or Puñal with a hint of old Finnish bands, but with a personal touch and the vision of teenagers living in 2025, a present without a future, on an island with no future where it is no longer possible to live.
