STRESS \"Atomic flower, Brazilian metal explosion\"

2010 Re-Release of the 1985 HM/Speed Metal classic from Brazil with 7 Bonustracks taken from various demos and live. What you get here is a pretty heavy/speed metal classic album, constituted by excellent guitar riffs and solos, fantastic lyrical work and a lot of energy and fury. It?s not the thrash metal that ?Bala? cries but it?s, for the music of that time, really extreme. If Stress had been formed in the USA or UK and sing in English instead of Portuguese, maybe it would be a giant like Venom, Mot?rhead and others. STRESS was one of the earliest Brazilian metal bands, and the first ones to release an album in Brazil. In fact their early start has led bassist/vocalist Roosevelt "Bala" to object against the traditional view that Metallica was the first thrash metal band, claiming that Stress "is the true creator of the style because they played as fast and heavy as Metallica in "Kill 'em All", besides being older, and they have released an album before ("Stress" was released in 1982, while "Kill 'em All" was released in 1983).
