SOB O SIGNO DE SATÃ (1999) D.F.C. (Distrito Federal Caos)'s third album was originally released in 1999 by the traditional brazilian heavy metal label Cogumelo Discos, known for introducing in its catalog established bands like Sepultura, Ratos de Porão, Sarcófago and Lobotomia.
On this record, DFC brings more thrash metal influence to their hardcore punk root, with longer songs, but still maintaining the aggression and speed of the previous albums. Once again recorded at Zen Studio during the year of 1998 in the city of Brasília, capital of Brazil, the album also marks the leaving of the bassist Phu, an original remaining member of the first formation of the punk rock band DFCaos, since 1987.
SOB O SIGNO DE SATÃ was once again an album very well received by the fans and specialized critics, making DFC conquer opportunities for bigger gigs and other releases inside and outside Brazil, consolidating the band as one of the main references of the brazilian hardcore musical style.
