TCHAN NAN NAN NAN NAN (1993) is the first album by Brazil crossover thrash/hardcore punk legend D.F.C.(Distrito Federal Caos), which brought together members of the bands Swankers, D.F.T.A. (Don't Feed The Animals) and the extinct punk rock band DFCaos, which was created in 1987 and gave the name to this new lineup band project. The album featured a few songs inherited from these old bands, as well as several new created tracks, the album was recorded in two sessions during the year of 1993 at Zen Studio in Brasília, capital of Brazil. The ablum was released in 1994 on Eldorado Records, this was one of the first Brazilian hardcore punk records to have, in addition to the traditional vinyl pressing release, it also got released on CD. The whole album is filling with fast hardcore attitude, and already start to show some crossover metal influences, the songs bring sarcastic lyrics full of social criticism on subjects such as political corruption, machismo, police violence and drugs. The large amount of "bad words" in the lyrics was too aggressive for the brazilian music at that time, hence some songs were censored and the album was released without the transcription of the lyrics in the booklet. The young musicians' raw experience at the time was not a problem and the album was very successful in Brazil and was also released a few years later in Portugal.
