Here's the first official reissue of the legendary album "Here And Now" by STRAIN. Formed in 1992, Strain was a key band in the Pacific Northwest's burgeoning, '90s hardcore scene that was anchored by them, Undertow, etc, contributing to the rise of the new hardcore scene known as “new school”. Those were the years of bands like Integrity, Earth Crisis, Snapcase, Undertow, Unbroken... Originally released in 1996 on New Age Records and out of print since its original release, "Here And Now" is the band’s manifesto, both musically and lyrically. A special mention goes to the album cover concept, dedicated to the band’s singer Jody Taylor, who sadly passed away in 2016. Strain stands tall alongside bands like Outspoken, Unbroken, Trial, and the aforementioned Undertow as pillars of the genre.
