This LP includes the bonus track “Entombed In Flesh”, from the 2016 demo recording session, but previously unreleased on physical format. Comes in a gatefold, including poster and download card. The download includes a total of 10 songs. All the songs appearing on the vinyl as well as the rest of the 2016 demo recording session. This is a band of master musicians and craftsmen, and thankfully, they’ve put those chops in the service of the song – and six equally astounding ones that amount to an amazingly kaleidoscopic work. References to the legendary likes of Athiest, Gorguts, Cynic, and especially later Death and Pestilence are understandable, of course, but CRYPTIC SHIFT have a gnarled ‘n’ gnarling aspect that puts them closer to such cults as DBC, The Chasm, Timeghoul, Canada’s Martyr, and especially Nocturnus. An absolute must have for all fans of cosmic death metal.
