Reissue of an absolute classic!!! One of the best thrash records to EVER come out of Canada originally spawned in 1987. As far as out-and-out thrash insanity goes, this album is one of the best. Sacrifice, one of the more overlooked of the 80s thrash greats, really blasts off the starting blocks with the 38-second title track which acts as an intro to the second track, "Terror Strikes" a speedy little ditty with a killer breakdown at about the two-minute mark in the song. The third track, "Re-Animation" features one of the absolute best riffs ever. EVER. If this song doesn't instantly make you want to break your fucking neck, stop listening to metal and start reading the reviews at Rolling Stone or something, because this right here is thrash fucking metal at its best! It doesn't stop there, though! Hell, no, it doesn't! Next up is "Afterlife" which also features some fantastic riffs and an absolutely deadly breakdown at around the three-minute mark. The thing about all of these songs, as well as the ones to follow, is that they are just full of some of the most intense, vicious playing by all the musicians ever heard. Not one of the four bandmembers are relaxing at any point on this album! Buy this album, and go forward...to termination!
