A furious blast of raw, uncompromising Italian hardcore punk from Campobasso! Formed in 2015 by veterans of the local underground scene, DEFEZIONE deliver 10 short, abrasive attacks deeply rooted in the glorious tradition of early-to-mid '80s Italian HC. Think WRETCHED, early IMPACT, DECLINO, INFEZIONE and the whole uncompromising school of Italian hardcore at its most primitive and urgent: frantic drumming, rough distorted guitars, shouted vocals in Italian and a relentless sense of anger and frustration. No polished production, no modern hardcore clichés, just a stripped-down, fiercely DIY sound that could easily pass for a long-lost underground demo tape from 1984. Fast, direct and politically charged, this self-titled debut captures the raw spirit of a scene that valued urgency and conviction over technical perfection. Highly recommended to anyone into the classic Italian hardcore sound of the '80s!
