LANDFILL American violence grindcore band from Lima, Ohio. Raging grindcore full of hate and piss, thrashing punk 3 chord quitar destruction, crusty influence and just a shed load of total fucking rage. Fast and irate. On this recording of the band are Will Olter from Methlab Explosion band (guitar, bass, drums) and Andy Koettel guitarist from Captain 3 Leg (vocals). The cracked noise sounds give the whole recording an authentic, unmistakable atmosphere. Andy’s angry Vocal tops this one off nicely, replete with his usual grump lyrical stylings. An ingenious yet simple thing that fulfills all my ideas of violence. The band is now in a wider lineup with members of Pizzahifive, Sulfuric Cautery. SUPPRESSION Noisegrind violence from Richmond, Virginia, USA The original lineup of Suppression began playing in Roanoke, VA in 1992. The current two-piece line-up came together in 2000, with Ryan Parrish (member of Years, Rope Cosmetology and Iron Reagan) on drums and Jason Hodges (one of the founding members of SUPPRESSION as well as Bermuda Triangles, Oozing Meat, Brown Piss) on bass. The record is an ingenious mix of explosive grindcore powerviolence noise with crushing bass, pounding drums and interesting vocals. Overall influenced by many other samples and echo effects with a garage recording sound that gives me far more than a lot of studio recordings from other bands.
