RAGING PORTLAND HARDCORE/PUNK IN THE FINEST POISON IDEA TRADITION – THE EXPLOSIVE 2013 DEBUT ALBUM!! Originally released in 2013 on Feral Ward Records, "Wilderness" is the crushing debut full-length by Portland's LONG KNIFE, one of the most ferocious bands of the modern American HARDCORE/PUNK scene! 10 tracks of savage, high-energy HARDCORE firmly rooted in the glorious early '80s tradition, with an unmistakable POISON IDEA influence and strong connections to classic Japanese and British HARDCORE! Furious drumming, razor-sharp guitar riffs, driving bass lines and Colin's vicious, snarling vocals collide in an explosive mixture of speed, aggression and dirty ROCK'N'ROLL attitude. Combining the reckless intensity of classic Portland hardcore with infectious grooves and memorable songwriting, LONG KNIFE deliver a frantic succession of nihilistic punk anthems, including "Artificial Heart Recall", "Last Wave", "Narco" and "Move It Creep"! Raw, aggressive and packed with personality, "Wilderness" captures the band at the very beginning of their recording career, already displaying the unmistakable sound that would establish them among the finest contemporary American hardcore acts. Absolutely mandatory for fans of POISON IDEA, NEGATIVE APPROACH and the wildest side of '80s US HARDCORE! 10 TRACKS OF PURE HARDCORE/PUNK FURY – OFFICIAL VINYL REISSUE ON BLACK WATER RECORDS.
